The Bulgarian Quality and Productivity Center (BQPC) was
founded as a non-profit association under initiative of
the Joint Japanese Bulgarian Committee for economic co-operation
in 1985. This committee has a decisive role for the further
development of the BQPC, which is characterized with pronounced
orientation to the transfer of Japanese management approaches
and practical achievements in the management area.
The BQPC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization,
established by representatives of the private organizations
from the industry and the employers, state institutions,
scientific and creative organizations:
Vision
The BQPC ambition is to be an operative and reliable partner
for the Bulgarian companies and organizations in their efforts
to achieve production of high indicators for quality and competitiveness.
Mission
The BQPC mission is to assist the Bulgarian companies in applying
modern management systems and programs for the improvement of
quality and raising the productivity.
The principal trends of activity bring to the
realisation of that mission:
» Consultancy assistance
and working missions with the participation of Japanese experts
for diagnosing and solving the problems related with the management,
quality and efficiency in the Bulgarian companies.
» Training of Bulgarian
managers and specialists for bettering their competence
and skills in the country (training courses, seminars and etc.)
and abroad (specializations);
» Analysis and studies
about the economic situation in Bulgaria
» Publication and dissemination
of information about the experience of the advanced industrial
countries in the field of perfecting the management, improving
the quality and raising the productivity;
The Center is a member of the European
Association of National Productivity Centers (EANPC).
